The Great Canadian Birth Control Trial
Because history should be remembered, Masters of Their Own Bodies was written to promote awareness of a landmark court case that challenged Canada’s repressive birth control laws in the 1930s. For those with curiosity, academic purpose, or simply a general interest.

Vicki Backman, the wife of author Peter Giuliani, has collated and typed up the almost 2000 page transcript of the trial so that it can be accessible to all.

about The
AUthor
Peter Giuliani is a long time elementary school teacher and union thug from the Ottawa region. The teaching part was great fun, though eye opening was conciderably less so. Now retired, he spends his time with his amazing family and enjoys writing on the side.
